Lansing, Mich. – Employees of Accident Fund Holdings, Inc., and its four subsidiaries pledged $324,000 in support of 31 charitable organizations around the country as part of the company’s annual Caring and Sharing Community Campaign. The total represents a record $162,000 in pledges from employees, and a corporate match of an equal amount.
Lansing-based Accident Fund Holdings, Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, United Heartland, Third Coast Underwriters and CompWest have designated financial support to organizations including the Greater Lansing Food Bank, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, numerous Red Cross and United Way Chapters around the country, and many other regional and national organizations.
“These outstanding results speak to the tremendous generosity of our employees around the country,” said Liz Haar, president and CEO of Accident Fund Holdings. “We are proud of their commitment and are excited to match their gifts as we work together to strengthen the communities in which we live and work.”
Now in its sixth year, the organization’s Caring and Sharing Community Campaign has raised more than $1 million to benefit local and national charities.
